So long as participation in the scoreboard is optional, there will be some who
choose to decline to participate. One may not agree with their reasoning, but
truly, they don't need to explain their reasons. And I can respect that.
Make the participation mandatory, and you will see some operators object and
limit their participation & log submissions etc.
For those who enjoy the technology and wish to participate, I wish you well,
and may you enjoy it. Those of us who choose to decline the opportunity,
please accord us the same.
