Hi Charles,
it‘s your opinion, but to get such a lot of mail with useless confirmations for
QSOs long time ago and for expeditions is useless for me. As someone can send
his whole adif to QSL-World and create confirmation for every QSO that would
mean if I upload my RTTY-adif I would send out nearly 50000 mails. Or if I’d
use all my contest adifs as DM0Y or other calls another 100000 mails or so will
go out. That’s spam, nothing else. Can’t find any entertainment value.
Whats the point for using QSL-World instead of using eqsl.cc?? Can’t find one.

It's true they are not valid for any awards, yet they do have some
entertainment value and it's nice to receive a confirmation in any case. I use
QSL World which is free and very easy to use. You simply create an ADIF of the
contact and download. A map opens, scroll to the QSO and voila!

Got al lot of those "QSLs" via a service named "QSL-World" within the last
weeks for some of my calls/expeditions and QSOs several years ago. For this
service you can unsubscribe and it stopped. There's another service called
"QSL-creator" from where I got also some QSLs via mail, but there I can not
found out how to unsubcribe. I do not respond to any of those mail-QSLs. As
I use eqsl + bureau I can't see the point of using these services too.

I am starting to get a lot email QSLs after contests (probably 20 in the
last few days after the ARRL DX SSB contest).
Does anyone know what the point is other than a digital equivalent of the
traditional mailed QSL card? They are not useful for any awards that I am
aware of.
I stopped using the bureau last year and upload contest logs for N1UR to
LOTW.
I have not been "responding" to these emails.
What do people know and what are you doing?
