Folks,
After an attack of good sense and many folks reaching out over that past
few weeks, despite my displeasure with ARRL not recognizing our legit
Section as a Section, I have talked myself off the ledge. I get it...and
frankly, this contest is about no individual but rather the collective
good...
With that said, VY1CO will be up and running...thankfully, Gerry W1VE (aka)
VY1AA among other calls to his name, will be on working remote. Whilst my
thoughts on remote are generally well known, many hands make for light work
and its great to keep Yukon on the map.../ This station has done well
working Multi over the past few contests thanks to my life long friend Bud,
VA7ST, but he cant make it up here this year...so we must crush
him...joking. Bud can do better in his sleep than I could ever hope to
to...Gerry likewise.
Turn your antennas North! If you work us, there is a 98.9 percent chance
its Gerry...if someone calls in unexpectedly on you, its quite likely me.
