Not meaning to start an OS-flame war here, as it isn't the proper forum,
BUT:

1.  OS/2 is easily installable with a dual-boot option.  In fact it 
automatically sets itself up that way.
2.  CT works under OS/2, at least it does on my system.
3.  Ken K1EA has told me, in some private responses I've received to some
of my own questions, that he has done at least a portion of the
development of CT using an OS/2 environment.

Just another option to consider, since the subject has been brought up by
