DVP and Win95

Hi,

I have just received my DVP and read the manual.
Since I am using Win95, I don't use any of the HIMEM.SYS, RAMDRIVE, 
SMARTDRV.EXE as mentionned in the DVP manual.
Do I still need an autoexec.bat and a config.sys
Any help would be appreciated on how to setup the DVP using Win95 as my 
operating system.
