My 2 cents

I'm all for the DOS machines are they are inexpensive and we can leave them
at the contest station which is remote to the normal operating site.
Please add my vote for the DOS version to continue. Linux would even work
if we can run it under a 486 30mhz.

I would like to know those that are using Win95 or NT (and NT is slow even
on Pentium 233 with 64M ram), are you a station that is doing 100-200 Q's
an hour? We find that any delay in the computer causes logging slowdowns.
You can run dx-telnet from the Dos ct, by connecting to a modem and doing a
dial in to a unix shell account.

As for the other apps, we run HFX on a near by laptop and import the logs
into the current daily log book.
