Thanks for the responses. For those of you that asked that I let you =
know how this came out, I have the following:
Several individuals use the radio on different ports. I dont think that =
it makes any difference which port that you have the radio on. I did my =
experiment this afternoon with port 1. I loaded the comtsr1 and selected =
TS850 on CT on serial port 1 at 4800 baud. It did not work=20
Then I unloaded the comtsr1 and typed in comtsr1 -h. This is a help =
screen for modifying the comtsr. You need to modify the comtsr that you =
are using for the radio so that it corresponds to -B4800 -N82.Read the =
instructions on the help screen. (I think the 82 instead of 81 is the =
important change.) After this change, I reloaded CT - set it up for =
TS850 as before and it worked like a champ.
Thanks for the help guys! Now when I change bands this weekend, at =
least, my computer and the radio will be on the same band. I'll see you =
this weekend.
