Hi Rod,
Yes. At V26E last week we networked 2 laptops using CT. This is what u
will need to do.
Purchase PCMCIA Ethernet cards for both notebooks. I recommend a Linksys
EC2T. It lists for around $80. but I got mine on the WEB for about
$36.o0 w/free shipping.Usually, u also need a hub, but if just using 2
computers, use a twisted pair Ethernet cable(kind of like a regular null
modem serial network cable would be).
You will need NETTSR by K1TTT(free download at his site).
You will need to reboot in dedicated DOS mode.
The PCMCIA Ethernet card uses any free IRQ.
Identify com4 as NETWORK in CT, any baud or no baud, but do not load
comtsr4(NETTSR takes care of that)
You now have COM1 free to use for rig control, which is what we did.

The Ethernet networking operates at 10Mbps, or 1000 times faster than a
9600 baud serial network!
It operated flawlessly, not one Q missing out of 4000+ on 2 laptops.
