That is correct. CQWW uses the WAEDC countries list first, then the ARRL
DXCC list. The WAEDC countries list includes Italy, but only the European
part. IG9 and IH9 are in Africa (zone 33), so they would not be on the
WAEDC list. They are (together) a separate multipler in CQWW.
TA2 (Asiatic part of Turkey) is also a separate multiplier in CQWW for the
same reason - TA1 (European part of Turkey) is on the WAEDC countries list.
