for darned near everything. The FT1000 and FT1000D require the level
shifter; the FT1000MP does not (I use a $10 Radioshack F-F DB-9 cable).
The URL has a complete list for the "Big 3" (plus TenTec) rigs model
numbers.
The full cables are $46 ( A level shifter from Yaesu is $124).
As usual, "I have no commercial interest in W1GEE"; just good stuff! I used
on on my FT840 - It just worked the 1st time!
