Hello, 
Rather than:

"You have your .bin file, switch to version 9.27 of CT and use it to do
the writelog.... (9.39 also crashes)"

        Easier solution:

Do the files one at a time from the logging line:

        WriteCList,  WriteDupe,  WriteARRL,  WriteSum.

But don't do WriteMult!   
That is the one that causes the crash.  No need to revert to an earlier
version.  At least this is true for the 160 test.  I used 9.46
