Is there a provision (or modification) that allows movement between CT
computer keying and internal paddle keying of the FT1000MP - without the
need to push any front panel control?
While looking at a possible purchase of an FT1000MP, I note that the rig has
two key jacks with the tip, ring, and sleeve in parallel to allow two
paddles (or one paddle plus a computer keyer) to be connected at the same
time. However, the literature indicates that swapping between paddle and
computer keying requires the operation of a front panel control to turn the
internal keyer on or off.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
