If you can find the older "Entrega" adapters, I have used them with CT and
they have dos support.... they were brought out by Xircom, and the new
Xircom version is different - no longer has DOS support, it appears - we
sell the basic module block and 2 serial port module for abt $225 - it is a
modular system and you can keep adding things like more serial, parallel,
scsi (i think) and usb ports. We have used them in the 2 serial port
configuration without the provided external supply - when you add more than
that you may need the supply.
I have had NO luck with the Belkin

Subject: [ct-user] USB to serial port interface
Any recommendations for a USB to serial port adapter I can use with a laptop
PC that does not have a serial port? Also are the USB ports active when in
the dos mode or do I need to add a driver or do something? Tnx
Tony
