My AR10.DAT was okay, I had to go into CTY.DAT and remove Alaska and Hawaii
before it would recognize them as states. Tried with 9.65 & 9.58 and had to
do it for both.

I think lots of us had the same problem. I fixed it by editing the AR10.dat
file. I added Alaska and Hawaii in the state multipliers so that they show
up on the mult. grid when you press <alt>z. If you do this, and reboot your
contest file, it should recognize the KH6 and KL7s as state mults and count
them properly. Why this came up in this particular version of CT I don't
know. I was using 9.69, and had several bugs related to changing modes that
have been discussed on the reflector by others.
