My latest computer has no ISA slots, so it is not possible to transfer the SIIG
4S 2-port
serial card into the new machine. The SIIG 4S is particularly nice in that it
has two
ports that are very easily jumper configurable to COM1 through 8 and all the
IRQs up
through 15.
Research on the internet seems to indicate that SIIG has abandoned the jumper
configurable cards for PCI slots, and their only offerings are "IRQ sharing."
We all
know what that means for CT use: no good!
Is anyone aware of a jumper configurable PCI 2-port serial card?
Thanks,
