Are you loading CTWin with the -vga switch?
With -vga on some video cards ALT-Enter won't give me a full screen at
all and
on some video adapters it gives a screen that was larger than the
display could handle.
And I've seen where the video adapter would flash something like "cannot
display this mode"
or something like that - think that was a Dell Dimension.
