I though the ap1000 had a 133mhz and the wavepoint II has a 66mhz??
Since Karlnet uses polling this will have an impact

cheapest of the cheap is the NDIS driver ($20), however, you lose a lot of
remote management functionality in the RG that, IMO, is definately a must
