Mel,

One typical customer off this base as a s/n of -64dbm/-79dbm.

On our "quiet" bases, we see customers at similar distances and CPE setups having something like -58dbm/-95dbm. Clean, quiet, and FAST. :-)

I'm looking at a company now that has a 2.4GHz wide bandpass filter that they adjust to a specific center freq with a 22-25 MHz notch -- I'm gonna stick with the 22 MHz bandwidth simply because of the nastiness of the noise we see.

Travis,

What are your noise levels in dbm?

it all depends on notch size - there's a company in Ohio that makes a nice amp w/ a 22 MHz notch - think they're called Rflinx or something

Anyone using bandpass filters on your base gear due to dirty tower sites and such? We have a base (AP-1000) that shows very high noise at the tower site, and I'm hoping a very narrow bandpass filter will help…

Any thoughts? I would appreciate some feedback from those of you that have experience with these filters.

Thanks!

Travis
