do you by chance know the power draw of an RG? (I can't seem to remember
offhand, and I'm a bit lazy, hey, it's a holiday

How is your load balance?
Just a thought - the OR-500 can run immediately off battery power and it's
draw should
be max 5 Watts on the average. Is this interesting when figuring in the
Solar power
cost and size? Note: OR-500 has AP-500 HW and it can run from power adaptor
as
well as power over ethernet - it's convertor can take between 7 and 60 Volts
in.
Do NOT try this with the RG-1000 as this is designed for power adapter only!

Make sure you ground well, though, to avoid premature loss of the units.
