Try Solarwinds if you're trying to track snmp stats.  The engineers
package comes with a lot of helpful tools, and can even send alerts for
downs, packet loss, high bandwidth usage, etc...  It is very nice and
affordable.

hard to say, IMO, , there's a place for both (I still like the cool
graphical diagrams of Nagios)
