Have you looked at the amount of spectrum 802.11a would use? There are alot of
5.8GHz solutions that use significantly less bandwidth (6 to 20MHz) typically
plus you get the advantage of a real TDMA system which is sort of what
TurboCell is trying to accomplish by polling.
