It's weird, if I mail to karlnet@dayton.akorn.net I can post. If I
mail to karlnet@wispnotes.com I get this .....

The paris.akorn.net mail server is using 'gray-listing' method to stop spammers (spamer usually doesn't try to deliver message again after temporary problem is reported by mail server. Regular mail servers do (or better - should do)).

I don;t think that greylisting on primary mail server is a good idea (paris.akorn.net is a primary mail server) - it should be used (if there is no better way) on backup MXes instead...

If you want you should find some related info about gray listing using google...
