Unable to download the latest version of NA from the BBS. I'm a registered
user. I can connect just find but when I start the download using z modem I
get an immediate unable to transfer. I'm using BIT COM version 1.05D here
and I don't use it often. Is there an FTP or WWW site I can use or can
someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I've got a 45 minute long distance
bill so far with no program.
I've got file transfers set up for Z modem, auto download enable = on,
Recovery = append, File type = binary, Error Detect = 32 bit CRC and Window
size streaming.
When I get to the screen on the BBS the has the "2" for downloading the
program, I press same, I get a screen that say Loading please wait...
(something like that) then the screen changes to a "S" to start .......
I type an "S" and almost immediately get a dialog box that says unable to
transfer.
Can some one help ?? (I'm the guy who sent K3LR xerox copies of the
FT1000MP manual so he could get started on FT1000MP support)
Thanks in advance
