Subject: need help with CVB
I've been using the Contest Voice Blaster for several years now on my 486-66
mini-tower without problems. Although I prefer CW, using CVB has made SSB
contesting almost enjoyable.
(Please, no snickers about why anyone how knows CW would ever want to...)
I recently bought a new super duper lap top from AST with an internal
"Sound Blaster".
Nice machine, but I can't get CVB to load and initialize the sound card. I
assume
this is a problem with using an old version of CT_VOICE.DRV, but I'm not
sure.
The Windoze 95 comes with several other Creative Labs drivers, none of which
seem to work.
FAXing help requests to LTA / Datom Engineering (428) 528-5357 has been
futile.
Any help in getting a proper version of this file, or understanding what is
really wrong
is greatly appreciated.
