Regarding comments about 10.25 and the order of the fields for data entry in
SS:
The fields are in the same order they have always been in, and the system has
worked because
1) the fields agree with the exchange called for in the rules;
2) for each new QSO, the cursor begins in the callsign field; and
3) the first Space or Tab takes you from the callsign field to the # field.
Unless 10.25 is different from previous versions, you should be able to enter
the callsign first, then Tab once to get to the # field where you are ready
to go for the exchange. The call is generally given as part of the exchange,
and if you have it entered correctly you can just skip over it. If you are
doing search & pounce and entering information as you get it, you are going
to have to Tab or Space alot to get around, but that seems unavoidable.
