To All Users with the Video Error 5 Problem:
Although we had not seen this error here at DATOM, it reared its ugly head
in the final stages of testing for version 10.28. This was puzzling since
nothing changed in this area of code. Indeed, the video handler is a third
party product.
We found that the compiler was "moving" the memory buffer used to store the
video images around in the computer's memory. Never mind that the compiler
documentations says this memory never moves - @&^@#*&^*! This has been
addressed in version 10.28 although not noted in the revision file. A-B
testing positively confirmed the fix.
Everyone should download 10.28 off the web site which should fix the
problem.
