Any thoughts on this. I have never been able to get beyond error messages
when running the CVB software. I always put it down to wrong configurations
somewhere in Win95. My hard drive recently crashed and I have now installed
a new one plus Win98, previously I was on Win95. All the internal hardware I
had added has been installed successfully : Comm port extension, CD player,
AWE64 sound card plus all external hardware is up and running : TNC, Radio
Interface and Modem. I have downloaded W98 drivers for the SB card and run
setup. I still can't beyond error messages.
- Firstly got Unable to Intialize card and/or driver.
I found the path said Program files\Creative\Ctsnd but had missed \Drv
off.
- Now I get Unable to load CT-voice.drv
Doing a file search, CT-voice.drv is listed as being in Program
files\Creative\Ctsnd\drv but when I check the folder there is nothing
listed although it does say 8 hidden files.
I would like to get this sorted. I have a nice little PCB made by a local
friend that is populated with all the interface components but I am
unwilling to add the hard wiring until I can see the software working.
