Dn't think this is really a "problem" and probably the best thing to do is 
just be "cool" about -- :-)
Any radio will get warm, even quite hot,  after long periods of transmit.   
And it's why T-T has the optional fan kit.  If one is going to run high duty 
cycle modes or even SSB with the speech processor at a high level on a 
regular basis and for extended periods of time it is  probably $40 well 
spent.
