Im sure my baud rate is set to 9600 still and never had an upgrade problem.. Using win2k, com2. I wonder what the diff is?

OK I have successfully updated the Orion. The key was to change the baud
rate set in my computer. It apparently was set to 9600 whereas the Orion
(where does it say this?) needs 57.6Kb to update properly. The baud rate
can be set two different ways. One way is to go into the Start Menu,
Programs, Accessories, Communications, Hyperterminal and set the baud rate.
Another way is to right click on my computer, select properties, left click
on hardware, right click on the serial port you are using, select settings
and change the baud rate.

This doesn't seem to be mentioned in the Orion Manual anywhere yet some of
you more experienced types perhaps know this. Since this is my first
update, I found that my computer was set to a different baud rate than the
Orion likes (but where does it say what the Orion likes?). Once set to a
compatible baud rate, the update went smooth.
