[Orion] serial port connections

   How many pins are used on the 9-pin serial data port on the Orion?

   Not sure if the radio requires all nine pins to be carried through on the 
cable to the computer, or some subset of the 9 pins.

   I assume a cross-over cable needs to be used... but the manual isn't clear 
about that, either.
