The AGC Threshold setting certainly determines the point
at which AGC action begins to attenuate the signal.
But, for convenience, the gain is changed simultaneously,
preventing volume changes for signal exceeding the threshold.

Although implemented differently (DSP),
Orion's AGC Threshold control behaves exactly the same way
as an "ordinary" RF GAIN control (not Orion's).

Due to gain change, signals above the threshold retain their volume.

Unfortunately, AGC OFF is implemented incorrectly.
Currently, there is no way to turn the AGC off,
and TenTec seems to have higher priorites.
