I was the one that posted the recent lockup question. I received many very
similar suggestions; chief among them was to upgrade to 1.372. Did that with a
master reset...prior...and all is well! (knock-on-wood)
As regards this particular post: No I did not have the sweep on. Tend to
forget it is there as not used to it..

I received this message from a CW operator friend.

There has been an issue for a long time that I am not sure is addressed yet.
Sometimes when on CW and also using the sweep at the same time, the rig will
lockup. You lose transmit and receive and rebooting the rig will bring it
back.
I have not experienced this lately, but don't run the sweep at the same
time. You might inquire to see if he is running the sweep.
