John, I spoke too soon. The highlighted line in every menu is now
totally immobile whether using the front panel Main knob or the knob on
the remote pod. Since I use the N4PY software, I don't need this
function most of the time. Nevertheless, does that still point to the
encoder as the source of the problem?
Thanks for the link to the site with the encoder repair. It may well
come in handy.
