With 2059D firmware on the orion 565, main and sub receivers have low audio
output , when nr is on the volume drops even more. The transmit audio problems
are fixed, sounds as good as 1372. Perhaps the soft attack on agc is to soft.
Could we get variable gain on the audio preamp , or some variable control other
than volume to boost audio? perhaps variable attack soft med hard on agc. Just
guesses don't know what needs to be changed to increase available volume. For
weak signal ssb dxing the variable attack on agc might be worth a try or at
least a look .Orion is much better now than with 1373b5. kb7up ken 73 ps just
keeps getting better. please put a note on ten tec firm are page or here as to
the agc slope definition flat, 1:10, 2:10. Thanks!
