I am running the latest firmware 2.039j on my O2. I
don't usually mess with the AGC threshold much and
when I did I found it is not as granular as I recall. 
  
Mine behaves logarithmic.  Very slowly at first but
then at about 9 uV it suddenly goes 9,11,14,21,38 and
then jumps to 191 where it stops.  Values are
approximate.  Do others see this behavior?  

I did not load an earlier firmware to check.  After a
year or so of operating I did not find much difference
between adjusting RF gain versus the more clumsy AGC
threshold.  Though every once and a while I go back to
it just to see which caused me to notice this
behavior.
