Despite the fear that the sun is growing "quiet"... we have a coronal
hole-influenced geomagnetic storm (planetary K 6 and 5 for extended
period). But, we also have SUNSPOTS.
As of 0130 UTC, 3-MAY-2010, we have active regions numbered by NOAA:
11063, 11064, 11065, 11066, and 11067. The 10.7-cm Flux=80, Sunspot
Count=47. We still have coronal hole influence, but the sun is alive.
Mid-week looks more promising for good HF comms. The current geomagnetic
activity is "depressing" the ionospheric radio paths.
