The good news: returning sunspot region, NOAA 11079 (or 11080), is
rotating into view (southern) over the solar limb. The sunspot(s) appear
to be significant in size. This will raise the background hard X-ray
level as well as the 10.7-cm flux during the Field Day weekend.
Bad news? The geomagnetic activity is increasing to Active at this time
(0630 UTC, 26-June-2010). Kp is 4, and this might increase over the
weekend as forecast, due to the coronal hole now in geo-effective position.
