Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2016 Jul 05 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. There were no visible sunspots on the solar disk. There were no Earth-directed CMEs observed in satellite imagery during the period.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low throughout the forecast period (05-07 Jul).
Energetic Particles
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal to moderate levels. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at background levels throughout the period.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal to moderate levels throughout the forecast period (05-07 Jul). The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels throughout the forecast period.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters suggested a return to near background conditions. Solar wind speed decreased from approximately 425 km/s to approximately 375 km/s. Total field was stable at near 5 nT. Phi angle was oriented in a negative (towards) sector.
Forecast: The solar wind environment is expected to continue at or near ambient levels on days one through three (05-07 Jul).
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.
Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be mostly quiet on days one through three (05-07 Jul), under a nominal solar wind regime.
