Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2018 Feb 02 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low with a spotless disk. No Earth-directed CMEs were noted in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain very low the next three days (02-04 Feb).

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to remain at normal levels, with a chance for moderate levels all three days (02-04 Feb). The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were indicative of nominal conditions. Total field strength was primarily at 3 to 5 nT and the Bz component was variable at +/- 3 nT. Solar wind speed decreased from near 425 to 375 km/s. The phi angle was negative.

Forecast: Nominal solar wind parameters are expected on days one and two (02-03 Feb). On day three (04 Feb), the solar wind environment is likely to become slightly enhanced due to the influence of a CIR followed by a positive polarity CH HSS.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to remain quiet on days one and two (02-03 Feb). Day three (04 Feb) is expected to be quiet to unsettled due to influences from a CIR and subsequent CH HSS.
