Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2018 Mar 11 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity remained very low. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low throughout the forecast period (11-13 Mar).
Energetic Particles
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal to moderate levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background levels.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal to moderate levels throughout the forecast period (11-13 Mar). The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters, as measured by the DSCOVR spacecraft, depicted weakening influence from a transient feature. Total magnetic field strength decreased from around 15 nT at the beginning of the period to below 5 nT after 11/0500 UTC. No significant periods of sustained southward Bz were observed. Solar wind speeds increased from around 375 km/s to near 430 km/s near the periods end. Phi angle transitioned into the positive sector after 11/0030 UTC.
Forecast: A trend into ambient solar wind conditions is expected over the next three days (11-13 Mar).
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was unsettled.
Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at quiet to unsettled levels on day one (11 Mar) as the effects from the transient feature begin to subside. Quiet conditions are expected on days two and three (12-13 Mar) as the near-Earth space environment transitions back to an ambient solar wind regime.
