Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2018 Apr 02 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. Region 2703 (S08E27) produced a B9 flare at 01/1308 UTC after decaying to plage. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available satellite imagery.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low, with a slight chance for C-class flares, over the next three days (02-04 Apr).
Energetic Particles
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached high levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux continued at background values.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to continue reaching high levels over the next three days (02-04 Apr). The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background levels throughout the forecast period.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters reflected conditions slightly above ambient levels. Solar wind speeds ranged between 430 to 475 km/s. Total field peaked at 5 nT. Bz dropped as low as -4 nT. Phi angle was positive.
Forecast: The solar wind environment is expected to be at mostly nominal levels over the next three days (02-04 Apr).
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.
Forecast: Geomagnetic field conditions are expected to be mostly quiet over the next three days (02-04 Apr) under an ambient solar wind environment.
