Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2018 Jul 13 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low under a spotless solar disk. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available satellite imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low on 13-15 Jul.

Energetic Particles

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal to moderate levels on 13-15 Jul. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters reflected a slight enhanced solar wind regime. Wind speeds were slightly elevated at an average of about 450 km/s with a maximum speed of 500 km/s from about 13/0430-0700 UTC. Field measurements were nominal and phi was variable throughout the period.

Forecast: The solar wind environment is expected to be nominal on 13-15 Jul.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be mostly quiet on days one and two (13-14 Jul). Quiet to unsettled levels are expected on day three (15 Jul) due to influence from a recurrent, negative polarity CH HSS.
