Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2018 Aug 12 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low with a spotless disk. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available satellite imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low on 12-14 Aug.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux continued at background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal to moderate levels all three days (12-14 Aug). The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background levels throughout the forecast period.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters remained slightly enhanced this period due to the weak influence of a negative polarity CH HSS.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to remain slightly enhanced over the next two days (12-13 Aug) due to weak, negative polarity CH HSS influence. Mostly nominal conditions are expected by day three (14 Aug).

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was at quiet to active levels due to the weak influence of a negative polarity CH HSS.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to reach unsettled levels on days one and two (12-13 Aug) under continued CH HSS influence. Mostly quiet conditions are expected by day three (14 Aug) with the return of a nominal solar wind regime.
