Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2018 Sep 12 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. Region 2722 (S07E11, Axx/alpha) continued to decay and was inactive. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain very low all three days (12-14 Sep).

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal to moderate levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux continued at background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to reach high levels on days one through three (12-14 Sep). The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels all three days.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were consistent with waning CH HSS influences. Total field and Bz were at benign values. Solar wind speeds were steady at ~ 550 km/s. Phi was positive.

Forecast: Elevated, but waning solar wind speeds are anticipated to continue all three days (12-14 Sep) due to weakening influences of the CH HSS.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field returned to quiet levels over the latter half of the period.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at quiet to unsettled levels on days one through three (12-14 Sep), with diminishing CH HSS influences.
