Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2019 Feb 01 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low under a spotless disk. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low on 01-03 Feb.
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at moderate to normal levels, and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background levels.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal to moderate levels 01-02 Feb, and moderate to high levels 03 Feb. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters reflected negative polarity CH HSS influence. Wind speeds began the period near 350 km/s before gradually increasing to reach speeds over 600 km/s towards the end of the period. Total field strength reached 20 nT early, but eventually decreased to end of period values near 4 nT. The Bz component underwent several southward deflections, some reaching as low as -16 nT, but ended the period near 5 nT. The Phi angle remained in a negative orientation throughout the period.
Forecast: The solar wind environment is likely to remain enhanced throughout 01 Feb under a negative polarity CH HSS regime. Enhanced conditions are expected to weaken over 02 and 03 Feb as CH HSS influence diminishes.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field ranged from unsettled to G1 (Minor) geomagnetic storm levels.
Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at unsettled to active levels, with isolated G1 (Minor) storm levels early on 01 Feb due to persistent negative polarity CH HSS influence. Mostly unsettled conditions, with a chance of isolated active periods, are expected 02-03 Feb as CH HSS influence begins to wane.
