Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2019 Jul 20 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity remained very low with a spotless visible disk. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain very low on 20-22 Jul.
Energetic Particles
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at moderate to high levels with a maximum flux of 1,824 pfu observed at 19/1835 UTC. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux continued at background values.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to reach moderate to high levels on 20 Jul, decreasing to normal to moderate levels on 21-22 Jul. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background levels.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters, as measured by the ACE spacecraft, indicated nominal conditions. Total magnetic field strength was below 5 nT. Solar wind speeds were between 315-360 km/s. Phi angle was variable.
Forecast: Weak enhancements in solar wind conditions are likely on 20 Jul and 22 Jul in response to influence from multiple, small, negative polarity coronal holes.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.
Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at mostly quiet to isolated unsettled levels for 20 and 22 Jul due to influence from multiple, weak, negative polarity CH HSSs.
