Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2019 Jul 24 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low with a spotless visible disk. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain very low 24-26 Jul.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was normal, and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux continued at background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to remain normal, with a chance for moderate levels 24-26 Jul. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters reflected a weak enhancement early in the period, followed by a return to background conditions. Solar wind speed began the period near 375 km/s, increased to ~435 km/s, then returned to just over 380 km/s by the end of the period. Total field strength averaged near 4 nT, while the Bz component averaged +/- 3 nT. The phi angle was predominantly negative, with isolated rotations into a positive orientation.

Forecast: A background solar wind regime is expected on 24-26 Jul, with possible weak enhancements associated with multiple small, weak coronal holes.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be predominantly quiet 24-26 Jul, with isolated unsettled periods likely.
