Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2019 Jul 28 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. The solar disk was spotless. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available imagery.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain very low on 28-30 Jul.
Energetic Particles
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal levels, and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background values.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal to moderate levels on 28-30 Jul and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background values.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters, as measured by the ACE spacecraft, suggested passage of a SSBC. Total magnetic field strength ranged from 2-7 nT and Bz reached as far south as -6 nT. Solar wind speeds increased from 300 km/s to around 350 km/s after 28/0000 UTC. Phi angle transitioned from the positive to the negative solar sector after 28//0425 UTC.
Forecast: Solar wind conditions to continue near background levels on 28-30 Jul, with enhancements from CH HSSs possible on 28 Jul.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.
Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be mostly quiet, with isolated periods of unsettled conditions likely on 28 Jul, due to weak CH HSS influence. A return to mostly quiet conditions is expected on 29 Jul and continuing through 30 Jul.
