Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2019 Sep 13 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was at very low levels. The solar disk was spotless. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available imagery.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be at very low levels on 13-15 Sep.
Energetic Particles
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached high levels. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at background levels.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at moderate to high levels on 13-15 Sep in response to recent elevated solar wind speed. The greater than 10MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were slightly enhanced from likely, weak interaction with a tenous, positive polarity CH HSS. Total field values reached sustained levels of 6-9 nT, and the Bz component underwent brief, southward deflections of up to -6 nT. Wind speeds increased during the second half of the period, reaching peak speeds of ~510 km/s. The phi angle was predominantly in a positive solar sector, but took brief excursions into a negative orientation.
Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to gradually decrease to near ambient-like, background conditions over the course of 13 Sep. Ambient conditions are expected for 14-15 Sep.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet to unsettled.
Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be quiet to unsettled 13 Sep in response to weak CH HSS influence. Mostly quiet conditions are expected 14-15 Sep.
