Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2019 Oct 07 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. The visible disk was spotless, and no Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low 07-09 Oct.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached 1,670 pfu, which was high. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to continue at moderate to high levels through 09 Oct. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background levels for the next three days.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters, as measured by the DSCOVR spacecraft, reflected mostly nominal conditions. Total magnetic field strength was at or below 5 nT. Solar wind speeds steadily decreased from 400 km/s to near 350 km/s by the periods end. Phi angle was predominantly oriented in the positive sector.

Forecast: Solar wind parameteres are likely to continue near nominal levels over 07 Oct. Weak influence from a negative polarity CH HSS is possible over 08-09 Oct.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be mostly quiet on 07 Oct. Over 08-09 Oct, isolated unsettled periods associated with weak CH HSS influence are possible.
